Minor Surgery

We have experienced GPs with a special interest in minor surgery.  Dr Ben Loxton-Edwards completed four years of surgical training before becoming a GP and Dr James Hunt has worked in a busy practice where minor surgery is an significant part of the practice workload.  Dr. John Cahill is able to remove skin tags and some skin lesions.

In order to book an appointment for minor surgery, please first book a 30 minute consultation with one of our doctors to discuss the procedure and confirm costs. The cost of this consultation is £180 for new patients or £150 for previously registered patients.

In your appointment your doctor will advise you whether a sample should be sent to the lab for examination (pathology).

If you choose to have your stitches removed at this surgery there is a £65 fee for your follow up nurse appointment.  Alternatively you can arrange for removal of the stitches at your NHS surgery.
